| After I left college, I continued to use watercolor, and I started mixing my own custom acrylic ink, combining mica pigments with acrylic mediums and paint. All of these paintings were done between 2006 and 2009. The above painting was created with acrylic ink wash over rough-press watercolor paper. It has a shimmer effect when light hits it just right. |
